Why are we Here?

A question asked by many probably before the beginnings of recorded history.

But that’s not why we’re here.

We’re here for the same reason you’re probably here.

Cannabis. The Sticky Icky. Mary Jane. Weed. Pot. The Devil’s Lettuce. Whatever you want to call it - that’s why we’re here.

Our mission statement states that our aim is to bridge the gap between consumers, budtenders, and licensed producers.

What does that even mean?

That’s a hard question to answer, because there’s so much that we don’t completely understand about this plant. Furthermore, dispelling the cloud of myths and misconceptions that still floats over the industry is an arduous task in itself.

But that’s also why we’re here; not just because of our knowledge, experience, and the role that High North plays in the cannabis industry.

But because we want to.

From tackling the meta that’s sprung up around ever-increasing cannabinoid content and total THC values rising faster than the cost of living, to challenging the still-present idea that indica and sativa products have mutually exclusive effects - those are things we want to address.

We also want to see what the future brings - discovering other plants that may have naturally occurring phytocannabinoids, or getting a better understanding of the entourage effect and the actual mechanisms behind it. Better yet, determining whether the entourage effect actually exists.

Maybe even more whimsical queries, such as whether CBD would be appropriate for an anxious cat, which is a super-specific example I refuse to elaborate upon.

All of the above and more.

That’s why High North Education is here.
